Villas Alzinar C'an Picanfort

C'an Picafort is a resort on the north coast of Majorca.  Once a fishing village, it  retains some of its past charm and still has a working fishing port but is now a thriving resort with lots of hotels and apartments.  C'an Picafort is a favourite destination for Scandinavian and German holidaymakers with many of the bars and restaurants catering for  tourists from these countries.  This doesn't mean C'an Picafort is exclusively a German resort, there are plenty of British bars as well.  C'an Picafort is on the bay of Alcudia, it has a good shopping area and promenade, many of the streets are pedestrianised.  The long sandy beach extends into Alcudia making it one of the largest on the island.  At the Marina you can hire pedalo's or go on an organised boat excursion.  The nightlife is fairly limited with just a couple of nightclubs but there are plenty good restaurants.
