Castilla La Mancha

Castilla La Mancha is another historic region of Spain which is home to some ancient towns including the magnificent Roman city of Toledo, the region's capital. You won't travel very far in Castilla La Manch without seeing a castle, there are castles dotted around all over the region. Places of interest include Cuenca, Guadalejara and Valdepeñas.  Another feature of the landscape of Castilla La Mancha are the windmills. These conjure up visions of Don Quixote from the famous novel featuring La Mancha.
