The Costa Azahar

The Costa del Azahar is the Valencian Community's northern coastline stretching from Vinaros in the north to Oliva in the south.  The capital city of the region is Valencia.  The Costa del Azahar resorts were, until recently, frequented mostly by Spanish holidaymakers.  Budget flights into Valencia airport have opened the area to tourists from outside Spain and the local economy has been given a boost.  Some of the more popular resorts are Peniscola, Benicassim and Oropesa.  We have pages of information on all the main towns and resorts along the Costa del Azahar with details of the hotels and apartments available in the area.
