Compare Hotel Prices

Check the prices of hotels anywhere in the world using this search box from Hotels Combined, the world's largest hotel price comparison website.  Compare the prices being charged by all the major online hotel booking agencies and make sure you don't end up paying more than you need.  If you think that all hotel booking agents charge the same price for a hotel room, think again, prices can vary by well over €30 a night on some hotels. This free to use facility will help you to find the cheapest deals.

Catalonia's coastline is divided between the Costa Brava in the north and the Costa Dorada in the south.  The coast is extremely popular with Spanish and other European holidaymakers.  Cheap flights into Reus and Girona airports have opened the region up bringing an increase in tourism over the last decade.   Prior to the budget flights, many people came by coach and car from the uk and other parts of Europe.   The largest and liveliest resort is Lloret de Mar which attracts thousands of sun seekers every year.  A lot of the smaller resorts were once fishing villages.  When they saw the opportunity that tourism would bring many of these small villages grew almost overnight.  Some resorts have retained their fishing village atmosphere and have blended the two industries well, while others have been swallowed up in the rush to build hotels and apartment blocks.

We have been working on our Catalonia section and have pages on most of the major resorts and some of the lesser known ones and  have tried to list all the main hotels and apartments in these resorts. We have also devoted pages to camping and caravan holidays which are well catered for in this part of Spain. Over the coming months we will keep adding new pages, so please check back from time to time.
