Menorca is well known as a family orientated destination. Popular resorts include Binibeca, Cala d'Or and Cala'n Porter. Menorca has its own airport and is easy to get to from the UK
The second largest of the Canary Islands, Fuereventura is the least populated. Tourism is the major source of income for the island and new resorts have been developed.
Gran Canaria is the most popular of all the Canary Islands with over 1.5 million visitors a year. The main resorts are Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles.
Lanzarote is the easternmost island in the Canaries. It has a barren treeless landscape with extremely low average rainfall. The main resorts are Playa Blanca & Puerto del Carmen
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands. It has two distinct climates, the south is dry and arrid and the north is almost tropical.

Northern Spain
Up until recently resorts on the north coast of Spain were more or less exclusively used by Spanish holidaymakers. Today, people from outside Spain are starting to discover how much it has to offer
