Choose one beach for the first outing
Levante and Poniente are Benidorm's main coastal reference points, with the old town on the promontory between their broader settings. Select the beach that works from your apartment and find the appropriate access. Do not begin the morning by crossing the resort simply to use a more familiar name.
Pack for the length of visit you actually want. A short session before lunch can be easier than carrying a full day's supplies. Check local notices and conditions on arrival, and be willing to change the activity if the sea or weather does not suit the group.
Return before adding the town
Use the apartment to leave towels and beach equipment, change and eat. This prevents an old-town visit from becoming a walk with damp clothes and an overloaded bag. Plan a simple lunch so that the break remains restful rather than turning into a lengthy cooking project.
Put wet items in the permitted drying space and keep shared areas clear. If the party has different plans, agree who needs keys and when everyone expects to return. The afternoon should not depend on one person carrying the only means of entry.
Give the afternoon its own shape
For the later outing, head towards a clearly chosen part of the old town and allow time for the streets rather than immediately looking for the next beach. Check the approach for steps or slopes if those matter to your group. A viewpoint is optional when the route does not suit somebody.
Choose whether to stay for a meal or return to cook before purchasing food. If the evening remains undecided, avoid buying ingredients that create an obligation to go straight home. A small breakfast purchase may be all the shopping you need.
A successful day does not require equal time in both settings. If the beach has provided enough activity, shorten the town walk; if the morning was brief, give the streets longer. The apartment makes this adjustment possible, turning two different parts of Benidorm into a flexible day rather than one continuous outing with no comfortable stopping point.
