Find out what is being offered
Ask whether parking means a reserved bay, an unallocated shared area, paid public parking nearby or street parking that guests must locate themselves. Confirm the address, cost and booking process. A space described as nearby may still involve moving luggage along a route that matters to your group.
If a bay is reserved, ask how it is identified and whether it is available for your full stay. Check whether arrival before apartment check-in or departure after check-out is permitted. Do not assume the parking arrangement automatically follows every change you make to the accommodation booking.
Match access to the vehicle
For an enclosed garage, request the relevant height, width and length limits and ask about the entrance and turning space. Compare these with the actual vehicle, including any roof box or attached equipment. A hire-car category does not guarantee a precise model, so leave room for that uncertainty when deciding whether a tight space is suitable.
Find out how the garage opens and whether you need to collect a remote or key from the apartment first. If so, plan where the driver can wait lawfully while another guest completes collection. Ask the accommodation contact about the practical sequence rather than assuming the entrance will be obvious after a long journey.
Check the route separately
Look up current official driving and access information for the destination, including any restrictions that could affect the vehicle and route. A parking booking is not proof that every nearby street is accessible. Save the garage entrance location as well as the apartment address; they can be on different streets.
Before departure, confirm where to return the remote and whether that must happen before leaving the bay. Keep any payment or access instructions with the booking details. If the arrangement remains uncertain, compare the cost and effort of a clearly identified alternative with the benefits of bringing a car at all. The useful comparison is the whole parking routine, not simply whether a tick appears beside parking in the amenities list.
