Confirm the starting supply

Ask whether bedding and bath towels are included for every guest and every sleeping place being used. A sofa bed may require a separate request, and an extra guest added later may change what needs to be prepared. If a particular bedding arrangement matters, confirm it with the room allocation rather than assuming the advertised capacity settles the detail.

Find out what a towel set contains. The answer may affect packing if you need more than one towel for a particular routine. Ask about kitchen cloths or tea towels separately, since these are not necessarily included under the same description as bathroom linen.

Distinguish bathroom and outdoor use

Check whether towels may be taken to a pool or beach, and whether separate outdoor towels are supplied or available for hire. Do not assume permission from the presence of a pool in the building photographs. If bringing your own, compare the packed volume with the available baggage and the laundry arrangement.

A clear answer also helps on arrival day. If beach towels are not provided and shops may be closed when you arrive, pack what you need for the first planned outing rather than leaving it to a hurried purchase.

Plan replacements for the length of stay

For a longer booking, ask whether fresh linen or towels are supplied on a schedule, on request or for an additional fee. Confirm how a change is arranged and whether used items should be left somewhere specific. A washing machine can be useful, but check that there is enough drying space and time before relying on it for all replacements.

On arrival, count the items before everyone unpacks fully and report a shortfall through the accommodation contact. Keep the request practical: which sleeping place or guest lacks what item, and when it is needed. Before departure, follow the stated instructions for used linen instead of automatically stripping every bed or starting a wash. The right routine depends on the arrangements for that particular property, and a few precise questions can prevent a surprisingly bulky packing mistake.
